Head Men's Soccer Coach Steps Down
Today, we announce that head men's soccer coach Daniel Hawker has decided to step down from his coaching position. We would like to thank Coach Hawker for helping pioneer the start of the men's soccer program at Trinity! Coach Hawker was instrumental in getting this program launched and set on solid ground. We are excited to see how the program continues to grow!
Athletic Director Jordan Nowell had this to say: "I can't thank Dan enough for everything that he has done for the soccer program. His insight and knowledge throughout this program launch was vital to making sure we were able to create and run the soccer program well. His leadership, mentoring, and infectious personality brought so much to this campus and to his team. I am excited that he is remaining on campus to focus on his Campus Pastor role because he has so much to offer the Trinity community. He will be missed on the sideline but he has made a lasting impression on each and every one of the players he was able to coach over the last four years."
Daniel Hawker will remain with Trinity in his role of campus pastor, and he will continue to minister and speak into the lives of Trinity students!
Trinity is in the process of selecting a new soccer coach to lead the Lions and look forward to seeing what the future holds for the soccer program!
