Myah Berkey Signs to Women's Volleyball & Basketball!
We are excited to announce the signing of Dual sport athlete Myah Berkey. Myah will play both volleyball and basketball for the Lions next fall! Myah Berkey comes from Rosslyn Academy in Nairobi, Kenya. At Rosslyn Academy she helped the team win a league championship! Myah is also the younger sister of current Trinity junior forward, Madeline Berkey. We are excited to see the Berkey sisters on the court together next year!
When asked why she chose to attend Trinity Bible College Myah stated: "I really want a place to grow in my faith so that I can go out and help others find Jesus, and I think that Trinity is a great place for that!
In the words of Head Women's Basketball Coach Rachael Nowell:"We are so excited to officially welcome Myah Berkey to the Trinity Lions! It was an absolute privilege to host Myah and her dad on campus this January. Myah is no stranger to the Trinity family and we are very grateful that this is where she chose to continue her athletic and education journey! Myah is a hard-working guard that looks for her shot from three and is willing to play tough defense, and solid team basketball. I know she will have no trouble fitting into this group of athletes and continue to grow and expand her game as she contributes to our team's versatility and success. Thank you Myah for choosing Trinity! We are excited for you!"
We also spoke with Head Women's Volleyball Coach Quincy Wilson who stated:"Myah is a great fit for our culture, and her versatility will be a huge asset as we continue to build our program!"
Trinity Bible College and Graduate School is a christian institution that believes in empowering christian athletes to grow in their faith and spread the name of Jesus, while still being a competitive college athlete. Myah Berkey fits in perfectly with our school mission and represents what our school is all about! We are excited to see each other on the court and on campus this fall!
