HOW IT HAPPENED
It was back and forth for the opening minutes of the game until the Jimmies went on a run to take a 10 point lead.
The Lions would fight for most of the 1st half to keep the Jimmies lead to just 10 points.
Aaron Stemen needed just 2 points to eclipse 1500 career points and he was able to do it early in the 1st half. He is the 9th Lions MBB to reach this milestone.
The Jimmies took a 40 to 30 lead into halftime.
The 2nd half was all Jimmies as the Lions were unable to match the Jimmies offense in the 2nd half.
Jaden Shockley headed into the game needing 3 made threes to break the Lions MBB record for made threes in a career. He hit 2 threes late in the 2nd half to tie the record of 233.
The Jimmies went on to beat the Lions 89 to 65.
