HOW IT HAPPENED 

The Cougars jumped out to an early 8 to 2 lead to start the game in the 1st 3 minutes.

The Lions would battle to keep the game close and found themselves down 21 to 18 with 10 minutes left in the 1st half but that is as close as it would get the rest of the game.

The Cougars led at halftime 59 to 37.

The Lions tried to keep it close in the 2nd half but the Cougars were having a hot shooting night.

The Lions Jaden Shockley was also having a hot shooting night as he finished 9 for 19 on 3's tying the school record for most made 3's in a game.

The Lions fell to the Cougars 112 to 73.
